Elizabeth M. Morss Albany, New York
Elizabeth M. Morss (Of Counsel) has been practicing environmental law for over 10 years, providing counsel to small, mid-sized and large industrial clients on compliance with federal, state and local environmental laws, with an emphasis on air, hazardous waste, water and bulk storage issues. In that capacity, she regularly answers inquiries from clients concerning environmental law questions and drafts and/or reviews permit applications, variance requests and other similar documents. She also monitors developments in New York State and Federal environmental law, prepares newsletters and bulletins, and assists clients in preparing comments on pending regulations, legislation and guidance. She also has developed training and compliance materials for various clients, including a comprehensive environmental training program for environmental managers at a major New York utility. Ms. Morss became Of Counsel at Young, Sommer after ten years as an environmental attorney with the Albany law firm of Whiteman Osterman & Hanna.
