Overview

Lauren L. Hunt concentrates her practice in the areas of Adoption Law, Family Law and Matrimonial Law. She is a 2009 graduate of Albany Law School and admitted to practice in New York State. While at Albany Law, Ms. Hunt served as a law intern with The Legal Project and the Family Violence Litigation Clinic. She also served as a senior editor of the Albany Law Review and as president of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Hunt is committed to pro bono service and was the 2009 recipient of the Martin H. Belsky Award in recognition of this commitment. After graduation Ms. Hunt worked at The Legal Project as a Legal Fellow and now continues to serve on their Pro Bono Attorney panel.
Ms. Hunt is a member of the Capital District Women’s Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Albany County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the National Association of Women Lawyers. She is very active in the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Section, where she serves as a member of the Legislation Committee and Adoption Committee. Ms. Hunt also dedicates here time as a mentor for Albany Law School students and is a co-founder of the Matrimonial Law Breakfast Club.
