James Muscato to Speak at AWEA Regional Wind Energy Conference 2018 – Northeast

James Muscato, partner at Young/Sommer LLC in cooperation with Juliet Browne, Partner at Verrill Dana, Judy Camuso, Wildlife Director, Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife and Matt Kearns, Chief Development Officer, Long Road Energy, will be giving a presentation at the 2018 AWEA Wind Energy Conference, June 26 – 27, 2018 in Portland, Maine.
The presentation entitled, “Keep Calm and Carry On: Land-Based Wind Development in the Northeast”, will discuss the key siting obstacles and opportunities as well as strategies for improving the regulatory climate as each of the New England states including New York, head into the November 2018 gubernatorial elections. Jim’s talk will focus on New York issues following the Cassadaga Wind proceeding, the first energy project certified under the New York’s new Article 10 siting law.
