Jim Muscato Presents on Battery Storage Permitting and Siting Issues

The Nassau County Bar Association hosted a panel discussion entitled “Meeting the Challenges of Battery Storage for the Renewable Energy Needs of Long Island Communities” on February 1, 2023. The panel was hosted by John Parker (https://sahnward.com/att_John_L_Parker.html) and also included professionals from EDR and Paul Rogers from ESRG. Jim’s discussion focused on local zoning and SEQRA review for energy storage projects and the common issues facing municipalities with projects proposed in their towns.
